I appreciated the attention to detail, from the complimentary chocolates and cookies on the tray to the well-equipped kitchenette featuring a microwave and electric kettle-flat-screen TV included for downtime. The chalet's cleanliness stood out; it was pristine upon arrival. Communication with Hayley, the host, was seamless. A minor electrical hiccup was promptly resolved by a short visit from a handyman, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. The location offers easy access to nearby pubs and beach activities, striking a nice balance between convenience and tranquility. While the property doesn't boast luxury perks like an indoor pool, the value proposition remains strong-free parking and Wi-Fi accompanied by comfortable furniture and a cozy sitting area ensure a satisfactory stay without stretching your budget. I would gladly recommend Shenanigans for a weekend getaway; just maintain reasonable expectations about amenities for the cost. It's a spot I'd consider revisiting, ideally for a longer stay.
